inMary C, Liz W and Mary W wish all of our Tie Up the Black Dog friends a very Merry Christmas!! We wish for you all a wonderful time with family and friends and hope that 2014 brings you peace and personal growth. We have had a most wonderful year–our banner achievement being The Glovebox Guide to Mental Health produced in conjunction with our wonderful partners at Queensland Country Life and QHealth last October. We have received such accolades–shows that good information about resilience and recovery paired with robust clinical information always wins the day. We thank ALL the contributors to the magazine and the generous advertisers who supported it. Perhaps we’ll be back in 2015 with another edition!!

Noted outback helicopter pilot and photographer SCOTT BRIDLE very generously chose Tie Up the Black Dog Committee to be the recipient of an auction of his photograph “Sand Dunes–Tobermorey” at the Dalby Stock Horse Association Sale and Art Exhibition.
Scott’s work puts a new perspective on the outback, seen from above and his passion for the beauty her sees is evident in every photo he takes.
There was spirited bidding for the photo and Mr A Lowson of Brisbane was the successful bidder. We thank both Scott and Mr Lowson–funds raised will be put to good use in our rural and regional communities in 2014!!
